Set in Atlanta, Georgia, and covering the years from World War II to the
1980s, this psychological novel deals with relationships within a wealthy
Atlanta
family. For forty years strong-willed Lucy controls and manipulates, not
only her cousin Shep, but many other family members as well. Some strong
language
and some descriptions of sex.
I have been an Ann Rivers Siddons fan from the very first book of hers I read. This one was no disappointment. As usual, she kept me hanging on every word. She writes with such color and has so many twists, I'm never bored. A 5 out of 5.
